When our children were small, they spent a lot of time at our next-door neighbor’s house. They were like grandparents.
The man, Ern, was incredible. He could build and fix just about anything. In fact, our children used to say that Ern could do anything.
Truth be told, we humans have our limitations. However, we serve a God who is not limited and who indeed can do anything.
And so, whatever happens, we remember how powerful God is…and what a difference that power can make in our lives each day.

Good Word Pastor, we should all indeed remember that we are only human and that we should listen unto the calling and direction of the Holy Spirit.
We must all remember that we depend more on God than ourselves, and that we depend on our fellow Christians with whom we surround ourselves with; not only do we require such partners in ministry, but also in life.
